The majority of other Airlines require their attendants to be between 1.58 and 1.88 meters tall, basically, tall enough to be able to reach and use the overhead lockers but not so tall that they will have more difficulty moving around. 8. Hairways. British Airways says male attendants can't have long hair and must be clean-shaven with no facial hair and all attendants must have natural-looking hair color. Female attendants on other Airlines are restricted to 7cm of hair volume and mohawks, dreadlocks, and cornrow braids are banned. 9. Company Image. Emirates Airlines has its own two-week training program where one full day is focused solely on the attendant's image, they are told exactly how much foundation to apply and how to pick the right shade of red lipstick.
