What is going on everyone? Let’s talk about states that more people are moving to than leaving. Every year the United Vanlines Mover Study comes out. I always find it interesting and we did a few videos in 2017, 2018, and 19. The states didn’t really change from year to year so we stopped doing those. Then in 2021, everything changed. States that had been on the list forever dropped off and others I was surprised to see them anywhere near the top 10. So, the methodology is sort of simple. They track the coming and going of each state across different movers. They look at the data of all the people moving in each state and what percentage is left vs. move in. To simplify that more, for every 100 people moving how many moved in vs. moved out. Last time I did this I got some emails from people not understanding this method. I’ve never thought of as a math genius but it seemed straightforward to me. I will tell you upfront a couple of states I have been saying are going to get popular, have.
