Description: 1. The Delorean This car is famous for being able to travel in time when it hits the speed of 88mph, but did you know that at the time the movies were made, by law, no U.S. Speedometer was allowed to display more than 85mph and so they had to have a special one made just for the movies? 2. Jurassic Park Explorers. Seven Ford Explorers were used in Jurassic Park and they are probably more memorable for their paintwork than for the actual cars themselves, one thing you may not remember is that the cars in the film were autonomous vehicles, apparently needing no driver, however, this was not possible back in 1993 and the cars were actually driven by someone hidden inside the SUV's trunk. 3. A-Team Van. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them... well, finding them wouldn't really be that hard, you just look out for their iconic van, everybody knows what that looks like! or do they? most think the van was all black with a red stripe running from the hood up to the rear red spoiler, however, in reality, only the lower part of the van was black, everything above the red stripe was actually metallic gray. 4. Pontiac Trans Am- Smokey and the Bandit. This Iconic 1977 Pontiac Trans Am was made into a legend by Burt Reynolds, but did you know that it was actually a 1976 Trans Am with the front end of a 1977? 7. The General Lee. Everybody recognizes this bright orange 1969 Dodge Charger but did you know that throughout the seven seasons that The Dukes of Hazzard ran, they used somewhere between 255 and 325 different cars? 8. K.I.T.T. An acronym for Knight Industries Two Thousand, this 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am amazed viewers not only with its gadgets and looks but also because it could talk. but did you know that KITT was voiced by William Daniels? the same man who played Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World. 9. The ECTO-1. If there's something strange in your neighborhood if there's something weird, and it don't look good, it's not the Ghostbusters car, but it could have been. Dan Aykroyd originally thought of the ECTO-1 as a black car with purple and white strobes lights and an ethereal purple glow, but, because most of the scenes in which the car appears were night scenes, a black car would be difficult to shoot so they opted for white instead. 10. Bluth Family Stair Car. This car isn't just iconic for the way it looks but also for the comedic moments it created throughout the Arrested Development series but, did you know that it also appears in the background of the airport fight scene in Captain America: Civil War?
