This video shows you 2 bodyweight exercises you can do anywhere to correct rounded shoulders, a forward neck, a hunched back, and weak middle back muscles. When you do these exercises on a consistent basis you will start to stand up straighter and feel. The key is to continuously work towards permanently fixing your bad posture. The reverse snow angel exercise will work the biggest problems areas of poor posture with one move. If you spend a lot of time sitting at a desk or behind the wheel you’ll end up with forward head posture, slumping rounded shoulders, and a hunched upper and middle back. To counteract forward head posture (AKA text neck) you’ll lift your head and look in front of you during the whole exercise. You’ll lift your torso, pinch your shoulder blades together forcing your shoulders back, then squeeze your glutes and lift the lower back. This will get your entire spine into extension, the opposite of what you’ve been doing that makes your posture worse. Now to complete the exercise, turn your hands so that your palms face down.
