Description: Here's your quick recap on what's new with the Skydio 2+, from the hardware to the software, and the changes in service plans. This isn't a long video, because not much has changed. See, I keep it simple like that! First up there's the new antenna design, which doubles the range up to 6KM when used with the remote control (existing one). That antenna switches to 5Ghz at a higher power, and also benefits your phone and Skydio beacon too. Next, there's the new Skydio 2+ battery, which increases the battery life by 20%, up to 27 minutes over the existing Skydio 2. Best of all, that battery is compatible with the existing Skydio 2 drones (which I have been testing lately). After that, there's the new Skydio 2+ Beacon, which increases the range to 3KM over the previous 1.5KM. That too is compatible with the existing Skydio 2, but you won't get the full 3KM range because the drone lacks the new top antenna's.
