Description: I've been slowly working on the staircase over the course of the last year, collecting the right pieces of the wood, waiting for the wood to dry, the inspiration to come. To make it less steep I decided to build an L shaped staircase with a glass covered platform in the middle to showcase a beautiful root I found in the forest from a tree torn out by the wind storm. I've been climbing the ladder thousands of times while building the log cabin and the fall I've had was a sign to hurry up with the stairs.
