Description: I cruised on the same cruise ship twice in two years... once before the pandemic and once again in February of 2022. This video is all about what changed on Carnival Panorama during that time. Most of the changes were related in one way or another to the pandemic. I really enjoyed both cruises, and can highly recommend this Carnival cruise ship. I think anyone who is considering a cruise on Carnival Panorama will find this video interesting. It will help you know what to expect when you're aboard. I noticed more than a dozen things that were different on the ship... some positive and some negative. Here's a list: They used to serve Coke products, but now they serve Pepsi products. The ship was less crowded. Cuban music played in the Havana area wasn't as loud as before. The "magic buttons" for bar service in the Havana area had been removed. The refrigerators in the cabins are no longer stocked with drinks and snacks. Internet access on the ship was much slower than before. A viewing area overlooking the bow of the ship was closed to passengers. Proof of Covid vaccination was required prior to boarding. Proof of a negative Covid test was required prior to boarding. Use of face masks was required. The muster drill was quick and simple. Restaurants did not use hard copies of menus. The daily Fun Times newsletter was not delivered to all cabins. Plastic straws have been replaced by biodegrable straws. The selection of background music played on the ship wasn't as good. Too much cayenne pepper was used in the Guy Fieri seasoned salt. If you're interested in booking a cruise on Carnival, or on any other cruise line, feel free to use the services of my travel agent, Caitlin Gallagher. It's not about price. In most cases, a travel agent doesn't get you a better price than you could get by booking it yourself, directly with the cruise line. It's about having someone to make things easier for you... To do the dirty work for you (like being the one stuck on hold with the cruise line) and to keep you from making any rookie mistakes like booking a cabin in a bad location.
