Like most people, I thought I needed to study a foreign language in traditional classes in order to get fluent. I also thought I needed to LIVE in a Spanish-speaking country. Now I know that all of that is NOT true. There are so many people who never study in traditional classes and never go to a foreign country and STILL get totally fluent and confident in a foreign language. How do they do it? 1. They surround themselves with the language 2. The talk with native and non-native speakers 3. They CHOOSE to speak confidently regardless of their mistakes So, shoutout to all you proactive, independent learners... You guys inspire me so much!!! Anyway... Thanks to the internet, we all have access to endless language learning resources. You can follow English speakers on Instagram and watch their videos. You can make friends with English speakers on Facebook. You can listen to native English speakers on YouTube. I WISH I knew these things 13 years ago when I first started learning Spanish. But I didn't... and since I didn't like the traditional learning methods, and since I was so concerned about my mistakes.... it took me a LONG time to get fluent. This doesn't have to happen to you! Use the advice I share in this video to improve your English. Be confident! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Please share your experiences in the comments. Together we can encourage each other and help one another on the amazing journey of mastering English! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Download our free guides: → Practice your English with Native Speakers: englishfulltime.com/free-guide →Official IPA guide: englishfulltime.com/ipa-guide →Grammar guide to the Present Perfect Tense: englishfulltime.com/present-perfect →Pronunciation Guide: englishfulltime.com/free-pronunciation-guide-american-english →Writing Guide: englishfulltime.com/free-writing-guide Connect With Me 🙋🏼♀️ → Newsletter: englishfulltime.com → Instagram: instagram.com/theenglishcoach → Facebook: facebook.com/stefanietheenglishcoach → Twitter: twitter.com/EnglishFullTime → Business Inquiries: stefanie@englishfulltime.com Follow English Full:Time 👇🏼 → Website: englishfulltime.com → Instagram: instagram.com/englishfulltime → Facebook: facebook.com/englishfulltime ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's) 🌎 Where are you from? -California 🗣 Do you speak another language? -Yes, I learned Spanish and speak fluently. ✈️ What countries have you traveled to? -Mexico, Argentina, Ireland, UK, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy 🇦🇷 Have you ever lived abroad? -Yes, I have lived in Argentina since January 2013 🤷🏼♀️ You speak too fast.
