Description: I went on Groupon and found a pontoon boat rental for the day which was perfect. We rented it from the Belle Harbor Marina in Tarpon Springs Florida on the Anclote River this is truly a majestic water way. We picked up our friends from the local park and boat ramp near the mouth of the river. Then we took the boat out to the sandbar on Anclote Key the sand spit provides a nice natural harbor to anchor your boat on the leeward side of the island. The boat we rented had a slow cruise with the 60 hp mercury outboard I think we clocked in at 6 mph. It was like a floating party barge. We pumped up the paddle board to get in the water and it laid nicely on the boat when not in use.
