Description: We were in Oxford when we saw a small piano shop called Courtney Pianos. We were actually just sitting in a little traffic jam, and was stopped literally a few metres in front of it. So instead of just sitting in the car wasting time, we turned off and went inside to explore. I am always looking for "the one" - the special piano that's just for me, so actually, when we so see a piano shop, I try to go in and see if it is there. Courtney Pianos is a piano restorer, so not a "normal" piano shop. There were a lot of fantastic pianos much older than me, and actually much older than my parents! This Bechstein is the one that caught my eye and ear! It is over 100 years old, but restored and had a wonderful mellow tone. I tested it for quite a bit, and this one was where I was testing it with We Are The Champions to check out the dynamic range. Of course, this was special, because Emma help me too!
