It is rare for me to recommend traditional orthodontics, however if there is only mild crowding (which is normally the case in these individuals) then a little expansion is far better than veneers or crowns on teeth. And if mild this is rarely retractive. I strongly suggest braces on the upper jaw only, possibly with a little slimming of the teeth. Or possibly having "Thins", very thin veneers which only cover the teeth with no/minimal damage to them. Ideally people should change their function and posture to match, or even have treatments such as hybrid orthotropics. However, this destruction is madness, people need their teeth.
