Description: Online scams are a REAL thing. You may think this will never happen to you. I think you would be amazed at how easy it is. I have a friend that was recently scammed with a cryptocurrency scam on the site BitLont.com He wanted to share some information on how you can prevent this from happening to you. 00:00 Intro 02:18 What happened? How did this all start? 06:35 How much time passed before you were invited to invest in this trading platform? 09:00 Where they using a clearinghouse to make the trades? (i.e., like Fidelity with typical 401k accounts). 13:08 After you tested transferring money into the account and back out to your bank account, is that when you felt confident to invest more money? 15:20 So as you started investing more money you started seeing the gains being paid in your account? 16:00 How long did you have money in before you started seeing a profit? 16:47 As you started adding more money, were you still communicating with the girl and being encouraged to add more money? 18:39 When. You opened your account, was there any communication from Bitlont, like a sales rep or anyone? 19:41 What were the red flags, or events that happened that made you start to questions this opportunity? 23:18 When they started pushing, did you continue to invest or did you pull back? 24:05 When did you know? When did you figure out the scam? 28:00 When you tried to log in to get your money out, they put a hold on your money? 30:54 Who do you feel was the one to blame?
