Description: A winter journey from Bellinzona to Luzern on the Treno Gottardo over the classic Gotthard railway through the Swiss Alps, opened in 1882. The original Gotthard railway was an international mainline until 2016, when it was by-passed by the new Gotthard Base Tunnel. The train is a Südostbahn RABe 526 Traverso, operating Inter-Regional route IR26 from Locarno to Basel SBB.
