Description: North Sydney Councillor James Spenceley says he “couldn’t sit by anymore” as he embarked on a mission to send ambulances to the war-torn country of Ukraine. Mr Spenceley has purchased two ambulances to send to Ukraine and is raising funds to buy and equip more. “People are being transported in the back of cars, they’re not getting medical assistance while they’re being transported, and they are dying,” Mr Spenceley told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “This is a way we can get a couple of ambulances, hopefully more, into the country, and they will save lives.”
