Description: High Speed Diesel Trains (including the fastest Diesel Train) of Indian Railways. Indian Railways has started operating 130 kmph Diesel trains which was completely unimaginable a couple of years ago. Sadly, Western Railway is the only zone which has 130 kmph fit sections but still restricts dual cab (WDP4D) type locomotives at 110-115 kmph. Every other zone in Indian Railways which has 130 kmph fit tracks has allowed all kind of DIesel locomotives (in addition to Electrics) to run at 130 kmph. ALCO however, due to its own limitations goes at 120 kmph max. Here is a collection of Diesel trains which are allowed to run at 120 and 130 kmph in WCR and WR. Hope you enjoy!!
