Description: Cara and I have learned that there will always be rude people out there. Especially when you choose to put yourself out there on the internet. We know it will be there, and we are confident in who we are to not let it affect us. We think it is important to teach our kids to always be kind no matter what! That everyone is human and your words can have an affect on someone. Cara recently received a lot of mean comments about a dress she decided to wear to a party we were invited to. Having 5 kids, we rarely rarely get out for a night where we get to dress up and have fun. It was a Designer Bridal party, so most people were wearing high fashion pieces. Cara and I are very simple, and we don't even own anything high fashion, but we thought it would be fun to dress up for the night, and ordered some fun clothing we usually would never wear. Cara ordered a dress from Selkie that is a very specific style. She absolutely LOVED IT and she rocked it so well. She looked absolutely amazing. A lot of people (women) on social media were very bold in telling her she looked pregnant and how ugly they thought the dress was etc etc... which is totally fine to have an opinion. We just feel it is important for people to know that being an internet bully isn't a good look, and what you want to teach your kids. We aren't affected by others opinions and are very confident in how we are raising our kids. We just hope that people realize it isn't ok to bring down a mom, or anyone, just for what she wears or her appearance. Everyone comes in different shapes and sizes and EVERYONE is beautiful. We will stand up for anyone being bullied. Always. Everyone deserves to be treated kindly.
