Description: Street Running Train Gets 2 Green Lights On 6th Street! Conductor Watches For Traffic As Train Shoves Cars Down The Street Runner Track On Franklin Industrial Spur! Ohio Only Has A Few true street running tracks and this is one of them. CSX fast trains at my favourite railroad crossing are also included. The street running track is a Norfolk Southern line and only one customer is served over the street running section in Franklin, Ohio. The local had just switched the customer at the end of the line and were returning with 5 cars. Listen close and you can hear the conductor tell the engineer over the radio that they can make the green light. Trains don't run on this line everyday and they are difficult to catch. There is another customer on the spur on the other side of The Great Miami River. Trains use 160.980 on this spur and the main line that runs between Dayton and Cincinnati. The CSX trains in this video are on the other side of the river from the street running track and filmed at one of my favourite railroad crossings between Carlisle and Miamisburg, Ohio. CSX uses 160.230 as their main frequency here. You really only need these 2 frequencies when rail fanning this area and sometimes it is good to use 452.9375 for EOT when things are slow. There are a lot more CSX trains running through this area than Norfolk Southern. Filmed on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The street runner went toward the customer around 1:30pm and came back at 3:01pm.
