Description: After 1982's "The Visitors", ABBA went on an extended break but did not officially disband. During this time, the boys from ABBA worked with Tim Rice to create the musical "Chess" and the hit single "One Night In Bangkok" sung by Murray Head that peaked at #3, spending 13 weeks on the chart. Agnetha and Frida stepped out with other talents to work with, Frida choosing Phil Collins and had a hit with the #13 "I Know There's Something Going On" that spent thirteen weeks on the chart in the spring of 1983. Agnetha went with Blondie producer Mike Chapman and her hit single "Can't Shake Loose" a #29 Hot100 single that stayed on the chart for five weeks in the summer of 1983. While Frida was the clear winner on the chart, Agnetha seems to have a larger audience in the long run for her song. It has been remixed zillions of times, but not like my version. It has been created to resemble a 12 disco single using only the original album version and contains instrumental passages no other remix has, unless they got a hold of the music stems, which as far as I know is not possible. I hope you enjoy this new extended version made possible with my newfound remixing techniques.
