The value proposition of this compact city-truck is unbelievable. We spent a week with a new 2022 Ford Maverick XLT with the FWD Hybrid powertrain to see what it is like to live with. The efficiency is extremely impressive, the interior design/materials is phenomenal for the price point and there is a very nice suite of technology available. The most base trim of the Maverick does start just under $20,000, but with a few options on this model we are still just in the mid $20s.
