Description: PlastiC is a stop motion film about the damaging effects of plastic pollution on ocean animals and their ecosystems. Plastic is a revolutionary material. It’s durable, it’s affordable, it’s multi-functional - and it has pushed our planet to the brink of one of the worst environmental crises in modern history. After two years of research, we are ready to introduce WHY PLASTIC - a campaign that features short films, events and three documentaries investigating new aspects of our lives with plastic. WHY PLASTIC aims to uncover the myths and misconceptions around plastic, separating facts from fiction. The films will be broadcast all over the world through our partners BBC, DR, SVT, CBC, NRK and NHK, among many others. Creator: Sachin Vs Intro animation by: Anna Sobczyk Winner of the Odense Film Festival's WHY PLASTIC short film competition. This film is part of the WHY PLASTIC? Series.
