La idea fue por mi preocupación por las cosas malas que suceden en este mundo, por cómo la sociedad nos está haciendo la vida difícil y por el temor a la destrucción de este hermoso planeta en el que vivimos, este "punto azul pálido", que es el único hogar que tenemos. Me gustaría un futuro sin guerras, donde la gente se respetara entre sí, un futuro en el que nuestra civilización pensara más en la energía renovable, que  viviéramos en ciudades sin contaminación y estuviéramos explorando los océanos y el espacio lejano :). Ese futuro sólo es posible si nosotros, los niños y adolescentes, que somos el futuro de este mundo, nos unimos para cambiar las formas. Tenemos que detener el bullying en las escuelas y aprender que todos somos diferentes.  Tenemos distinto color de piel, más altos, más bajos, más gorditos, más delgados etc...  pero todos somos  seres humanos iguales. Tenemos que aprender a aceptarnos los unos a los otros y vivir juntos en paz para que podamos trabajar también juntos en salvar este planeta antes de que el cambio climático sea irreversible y de que los científicos nos adviertan que el reloj del juicio final no se detiene. Con esta canción y este video, espero poder llegar a todos los niños, para que piensen en ello, y los llamo a hacer un cambio para que podamos conseguir UN MUNDO MEJOR:) I composed and recorded this song when I was ten years old. It came from my concern about the bad things happening in this world, how people are making life difficult for each other and for this beautiful planet that they are destroying - this "pale blue dot" that is the only home we have. I see a future without wars where people will respect each other, a future where our civilization is running on green energy, we live in cities without pollution, and we are exploring deep oceans and space :). That future is only possible if we, children, the future of this world, come together and change our ways. We have to stop bullying each other in schools and learn that we all are in a way different - we might have different skin complexion, someone is chubby, someone is tall - but deep inside we all are the same: human beings. We have to learn to accept each other and live together in peace so we can work together on saving this planet before the climate change becomes irreversible - and scientists are warning that the doomsday clock is ticking!
