Description: Soooooo many empty seats but it was too damn cold and nobody could hit! What a shame because the No. 1 prospect in MLB had not yet hit his 1st career home run. Catching a Bobby Witt Jr. dinger was the ONLY reason that I traveled to Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago. White Sox vs. the Kansas City Royals on a freezing weeknight early in the season? Of course the stadium was empty, but luck just wasn't on my side. Oh, and of course there was no batting practice either, so this whole day was a real pain in the you-know-what. I still had fun, though, and got to see some great players including Jose Abreu and Salvador Perez. Shoutout to Royals starter Daniel Lynch who not only tossed me my only baseball, but has not given up a run both times I've seen him this season -- good for him but bad for me as the dummy sitting in the outfield hoping for home runs. Oh, and if you think this game (which, by the way, took place on April 26, 2022) looked cold and empty, wait'll you see my next video. Yow! This video was filmed and edited by Rachel Messbauer. Thanks for watching!
