Description: Get 30% off your first bag at Trade Coffee: bit.ly/traderainfall and use my code RAINFALL - Parts List - Thermometer: amzn.to/34CPIvv Weld On Hinge: amzn.to/2PRKHuN Arduino Board: amzn.to/2NMpdNh Display: amzn.to/2NkyxsP Breadboard: amzn.to/2PTvYjg Power Supply: amzn.to/34Bwjem My buddies Pat and Tim visited the farm to help build a meat smoker. I play the part of the welder, Tim is the electronics whiz, and Pat is the smoke master. We wanted to use a vertical design, thinking it'll take up less room when it's being stored, and Tim had some ideas of how to use a programmable fan to control the temperature of the fire. Tim also had the idea of using a boat horn as an alarm to alert/wake up the smoke master (pat) if the fire gets too hot or when the meat reaches the programmed temperature. Once we finished building the smoker, we fired it up and got two briskets smoking for the big Halloween party we were having in the barn.
