Description: How do you study abroad in high school when you are broke? Maybe your parents don't want to pay for it, can't pay for it, or you need a way to convince them? So how can you afford to go on foreign exchange? Well, I'm just the GAL to answer that, as I also started with a good $0 to my name, with parents who were not totally on board with the idea. This is how I was able to afford the $5000 Rotary Youth Exchange cost: - Worked for 7 months - Made $8.50/hr - Worked on average 20- 25 hrs per week - In total made about $5,500 - Received a partial scholarship of $1500 which I explain towards the end of the video These are ideas I hope you can implement if this is something you dream of doing. I know I would have appreciated the same video when I was researching at 15-years-old.
