Description: Today we Exploring this Abandoned Place built 350 years ago for a Wealthy Lord who was so obsessed with the Napoleonic War that he feared for the life of him and his family not to mention his wealth! So he built this place as a fortress! All the building are built of solid Welsh stone consisting of several dwelling, with a small inclosed court yard, all the walls are about 3 feet thick with bars on the windows. It was made heavily fortified inside and out! Around the the whole proximity it had an 7ft wall with a secret tunnel which led straight to the look out tower which had two levels and a bell. The bell was used to notify the lord who lived in the Manor the building to the front of the fortress of any invasion which never happened! This was truly an unusual abandoned place we explored and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!
