Description: This is the fifth in a series from Quantum Gravity Research, each episode focusing on a different scientist, their origins and backgrounds, where their love of science started and how they came to work at QGR. Fang is a Senior Research Scientist working on the development of a fundamental physics theory at Quantum Gravity Research. She received her PhD in Laser Plasma Physics from the University of California at Los Angeles. She joined the mission in 2009 and helped build the team. Her expertise includes photonics, solid state physics, plasma physics, quantum gravity models, standard physics model, quasicrystals, Lie algebra and number theory.
