In most of her poems she has described her unconditional love for her Lord Krishna whom she considered as her husband. And because of her love for him, she used to sing and dance in his praise. Here the name 'Mohan' is another name for 'Lord Krishna' and so here she is asking her Lord, why don't You talk to me and she is thinking how to coax him back. And in the movie, the lead actress after her husband's death sings this song, referring her husband to Mohan (Lord Krishna) and that why is he not talking to her(because he is no more).
