Description: My trusty Google Map tells me I can walk from Qurum to Ruwi but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Friends didn't know of a way to do it either. But I decided to ignore my doubts, put my trust in Google, and just follow the Map. Here is the area of Qurum that got so badly flooded in 2007s Cyclone Gonu. Many of the big Plaza buildings and shopping areas were closed for over a year. I visit the Sabco Centre, perhaps the first true modern shopping centre in Muscat - "The heart of town since 1985"
