Description: MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THIS NEW ISLAND I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO IN THE PHILIPPINES? Well, let's just say... BEAUTIFUL. On this day, we continue our island hopping in Carles, Iloilo. This chain of islands about three hours north east of the Iloilo City is home to a local Ilonggo community, and so much stunning beauty! Aside from the usual beaches and swim spots... we decided to head to North Gigante Island and check out the old lighthouse. I really loved this Philippines Island community. Oh, and I also really enjoyed learning Hiligaynon with Ilonggos on the beach! It was a laugh trip with the locals and my girlfriend Therine. Positive Vibes all day, beautiful first impressions of a new community I had never seen... And a Canadian learning a few little Hiligaynon songs and words along the way!
