Description: Trump’s ban on transgender Americans joining the military is now in effect. Logan Ireland is one of nearly 15,000 transgender people currently serving in the US Military. Logan served in Afghanistan and has been outspoken about transgender rights. His wife Laila, a transgender woman, also served in the Army. Their request? For transgender soldiers to be given the same rights afforded to anyone willing and capable to serve their country. We traveled to Colorado to met the couple, as well as other members of the trans military community who are committed to pushing back on this policy.
