You can also do this in a large pot on the stove set to low-medium. Stir in vanilla extract and/or peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Stir in enough red food colour to get a nice shade of bloody. Stir in rice krispies treats. If your rice krispies treats start to harden up before you are ready, pop the bowl back into the microwave for a few seconds to soften. Fake edible blood: Dark corn syrup red food colour chocolate syrup Mix 2 tbsp of corn syrup with some red food colour and add in about 1 tsp of chocolate syrup.
