Description: It turns out that you can use #OBDeleven for Android instead of ODIS or VCP to send datasets and parametrize control modules in VAG vehicles. Here's how to do it in Audi Q3 (8U) with Audi RMC infotainment system. I figured out couple EEPROM addresses and values to control and enable menu options in the Audi Car menu. For example: address 0xF005C0 can toggle wiper options (rain sensor and wiper service position). 💻 Procedure Connect with the vehicle Select module that you want to parameterize (example: 5F). Select "Security Access" and enter the code (example: 20103). Select "Change Service" and select "End of Assembly Line (EOL)". Select "EEPROM" and enter address (example: F005C0) and data length (example: 3). Press "R" to read current data, modify it, press and hold "W" to write data back to unit. ⚠️ EEPROM modification is an advanced procedure. By sending incorrect data you can easily brick you unit! Make sure that you know what you are doing. ℹ️ You will have to do it manually by entering data address and length, and you will have to manually type in new parameters which is not the most convenient way to work with diagnostic tools. ℹ️ Current OBDeleven app can not write values to empty addresses. It can only modify existing data. This means that if an address does not have #dataset stored yet, you will not be able to send new data to it.
