If you've been following along for a while, you know I have been preparing for this Art show for months. I wanted to organise an all women show of contemporary mixed media Artists (painters, photographers performance Artists) because women are so under represented in this sphere. As I am in residency at the convent in Paris, I thought it would be really lovely to plan an Art show there with the theme "God is a Woman". I talk about this more in depth in the video, but it is the first time I ever tried organising an event like this. Although I am an Artist and wanted to try out curating for a while, it definitely had some unexpected challenges. A lot of things didn't go as planned, but, I have learned that it can be really rewarding to roll with punches and lean into the flow of things. I really loved meeting so many of you who traveled to come to the show, as well as working with so many talented female Artists!
