Description: We get our first official look at the new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV – the first electric pickup from the brand. Showing off some similarities to the recent Hummer EV, the Silverado packs some fresh style and a big battery. The fully loaded RST model in this video has a projected 400-mile range and costs $105,000 (yikes). But thankfully there will be an entry-level version that starts at $39,000 called the WT. The rest of the specs are pretty impressive for a new vehicle. It will charge at rates up to 350 kW, and has 10 onboard outlets to distribute power to devices. The RST has 664 horsepower and 710 pound-feet of torque which means it has a towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. Four-wheel steering helps reduce the turning circle, making the 18.5-foot long more nimble. The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV goes on sale next year starting with the WT in Spring and the RST in the Fall. Reservations are now open.
