It's basically 32bit style Mario, except he's got a transforming super beard and can get new abilities, Metroidvania style. There is also a day-night cycle that opens up either one side or the other in a level, so you can replay each one until you've found all coins and collectibles (if you're a completionist). Nice pixel graphics, tight controls, and good variety in stages and different segments (for example a "3D" chase level).
