Apple unintentionally killed android with this flaw, Please note that Mediatek and Qualcomm has already released some patches in late Dec 2021 but there are many smartphones which are still waiting for this patch, people using old android devices will stay vulnerable to this flaw which is a serious issue in terms of security.
