The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E. The riffs in "Mountain Song" are pretty easy to play. Dave Navarro changes a couple of parts in more recent live versions, but I will be focusing on the recorded version in this lesson. For the solo, Dave uses a lot of effects and mostly goes for a choatic noise type of sound.
