Description: The oldest crochet hook in the world so far is dated to be Predynastic making it older than 3100 BC. It was discovered by Guy Brunton in 1929 and has been in storage for 91 years. Images of the hook are copyrighted to the Trustees of the British Museum. Many of these items are in storage, so it takes a little time to organise, but as you can see, it was well worth the wait.
