Description: 6—THE CONCLUSION TO THE DAY OF THE LORD: Revelation 19:17-21—Armageddon is the destruction of hard-hearted humanity gathered in rebellion against God the Son. This moment was seen and described by Isaiah (66:15-16); Joel (3:12-21); Ezekiel (39:1-4, 17-20). Paul (2 Th. 1:6-7); and Jesus Himself (Mt. 25:31-46). The Beast and False Prophet are cast alive into the Lake of Hell-Fire where they are still alive and suffering 1,000 years later in Rev. 20:10. Thus, the false teaching of annihilation is disproved by God’s Word. 7—Rest in the Vengeance of Jesus: Revelation 19:14-21— We usually don’t think of Jesus as being vengeful. That is why Revelation 19 is so astounding! Since time began, His saints have pondered the wonder of Jesus’ waiting to avenge evil upon the earth.
