Description: 5 years in the Mojave Desert has caused Borax wagons wood to dry out to the desert climate. This was expected to occur and a 5 year plan was the determined schedule to assess the wheel conditions. We are at that time frame, so this is the beginning of the process to evaluate and adjust the wheels for their new home. The wheels were brought back to Engels Coach, by Bobby Tanner in a horse trailer, and this is the process of unpacking and getting them into the shop before the April snow storm predicted to occur this week.
